Free 24-Hour Crisis Support for Foster Youth

Sacramento Children's Home "The Source" WebsiteThe Source” is the Sacramento Children’s Home’s new life-line service for foster youth and their families living in Sacramento County.  This new program offers foster youth and their family members who are in crisis an opportunity to connect with professionals (phone, text, chat) for immediate assistance. It is a very impressive program and a great use of MHSA funding administered by Sacramento County. Learn more here and please share!

  • Support by phone, text or live chat
  • Face-to-face help at home, in-school or whenever support is needed
  • Support when youth need help handling life’s changes
  • Support for caregivers
  • Referrals to other programs
  • Activities with other youth in the community
