A record sixty $1,000 scholarships were awarded to soon-to-graduate high school seniors from area schools. Through the nonprofit Music on a Mission (MOAM) Foundation,  Supervisor Serna’s band “UnSupervised” contributed $30,000 from the music benefit they held at Harlow’s in March.  This is the fourth consecutive year they “matched” funds raised by county employees.

“On behalf of the band, I extend our heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors of that show who helped us raise the funds necessary to help so many deserving, college-bound young people,” said Serna. Natomas students"UnSupervised" flyer
