South Oak Park/Fruitridge Pocket Community Garden

SOP/FP Community Garden ProjectAn abandoned and overgrown community garden in the South Oak Park/Fruitridge Pocket area will soon be transformed into a vibrant hub of urban agriculture, learning, food production, and neighborhood pride. The community garden project, led by Chanowk Yisrael, founder of Yisrael Family Urban Farms, is located at the Fruitridge Community Collaborative site. Our thanks to Chanowk and his wife Judith for their vision, dedication, and hard work to promote healthy eating and help revitalize this community.
