Tree lighting and hay ride bring joy to SOP/FP residents

SOP/FP inagural tree lighting photoIt’s all about community pride and establishing new traditions that reflect it in one of Sacramento County’s great neighborhoods. The inaugural “Fabulous 44th” South Oak Park tree lighting event took place on December 18, 2017 at the Fruit Ridge Community Collaborative. Thanks to Michael Blair, President of the South Oak Park Community Association, and so many others active in the community for helping make this happen. I enjoyed giving the hay ride, the first for many, throughout the neighborhood. A special thanks to Deputy Joe Gordon from the Sheriff’s Youth Services Impact Unit for escorting us with his decorated patrol cruiser. Many residents rushed out of their homes to wish us “Merry Christmas!” and “Happy Holidays!” If you needed something to get you in the spirit of the season, tonight was the night in the South Oak Park / Fruitridge Pocket Neighborhood.  SOPFP hay ride phtot
