Expect traffic delays during your commute when the W-X, or Fix 50, project starts next week. From April 22 through June 25, Caltrans will close traffic lanes on Highway 50 between 18th and 24th streets. During this time, give yourself extra time to get to work or appointments, be patient, drive safely, and consider riding the bus or light rail. Regional Transit is adding supplemental bus and light rail service to increase capacity and lessen the impact of Fix 50. Get more information on RT’s Fix 50 website.
